Aisha Hinds is an American actor best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her introduction in 2003 she has proved her ability as an actress through stunning performances in television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her role as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to catch her notice. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought Hind to the notice of the public. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. Recently Hind finished filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release mid-2019. Their mother Krishnaraj is an Army scientist, who passed away on the 18th of March, 2017. Her mother Vrinda works as a homemaker. The older brother of Bachchan is Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Her older brother, Aditya Rai wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. The family moved to Mumbai and she enrolled at Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her secondary schooling for one year before enrolment into D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% of the H.S.C. exams. Her adolescent years were spent learning about classical dance and music for a long period of five time. Her most loved subject was zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she was crowned Miss World in 1994. This title pushed her into the world of modeling's fast track. She was hired by PepsiCo Inc., Vogue magazine as well as L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan became the face of New Bollywood with these films that defied Bollywood's basic structure. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the betrayed love in Devdas a film which was one of the Bollywood's most acclaimed film productions. The same year, she was the first Indian actor to sit on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her star-power and elegance was brought to the very first major English-language feature film. After her release Provoked: A True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and starred in the big-budget Dhoom: 2 (2007). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star of the film who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most influential people to one another.
