Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush Big Time Rush, an American
pop boy group, was founded in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt,
James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. The group initially signed
to Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. The group was
featured in Nickelodeon's TV series with the same name, Big Time Rush. The show
aired from the beginning of November 28, 2009 through July 25 in 2013. The
pilot episode featured "Big Time Rush" the group's first single for
promotion. The band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010 and
Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven , released in 2013. The band in 2014 was on a
hiatus that ran until 2021. They resumed live performances in the studio and
came out with "Call It Like It's Like It's Looking". Nickelodeon has
signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in 2009, alongside its TV series, Big
Time Rush. Nickelodeon has also teamed up with Columbia/Epic Label Group for
production and original music. Their first single, "Big Time Rush"
was released on the show' November 29th 2009. Officially announced by
Nickelodeon in November 2009, the show premiered for the first time in the
American market. The single was then released internationally. The song was
played in a preview of the series for one hour and serves as the current show's
opening tune. Promo singles, such as "City is Ours", "Any Kind
of Guy" and others were also released in the course of the series. Big
Time Rush recorded "Famous" by Play. The song was first released to
iTunes on June 29th in 2010. After the series' premiere the second song,
"Halfway There", was released on iTunes on April 27, 2010. The band
quickly made it their first charting track on the Billboard Hot 100. It was
ranked 93 due to digital sales. Big Time Rush's second single, "Till You
Forget About You" was released on the 21st of September on the 21st of
September. The purpose of the release was to announce their debut album. BTR,
the album BTR was released on October 11, 2010. The album was released at number
three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
