Lil Yacthy, is a rapper, singer and a writer, best known for his single 'One Night'. Miles Parks McCollum, his actual name, is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also known by the nicknames Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. He rose to fame with his two mixtapes called 'Summer songs 2' and 'Lil Boat'. This wasn't the first performance as a singer. His two singles "One Night" and "Minnesota" were his first recognition in August of 2015. These tracks were released on his debut EP, Extended Play, called "Summer Songs.. They worked in Lil Yachty’s bedroom studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of his hit song 'Minnesota ' was his first major success. Lil Yachty's breakthrough moment came through his song '1Night'. The video was shared on the internet and quickly went viral. The media spotlight was centered on his work when the SoundCloud version of his track 'One Night' was included in a viral meme.
